“Apple Mac Mini with M4 Chip: An Exciting New Powerhouse Redesign!”

Yesterday, Apple announced its “Week of Mac” with the M4 iMac, and now the latest M4 Apple Mac mini has also been announced. This version replaces last year’s M2 Mac mini, with the new M4 Pro chip, configurable with up to 64GB of unified memory.

The new Mac mini, which has an “ultracompact” design similar to the Mac Studio, is slightly smaller, measuring just 12.7 cm (5 inches) wide. The M4 model weighs just 670 grams (M2 model) and the M4 Pro version weighs 730 grams.



There are two USB-C ports and a headphone jack on the front panel. The back panel has three Thunderbolt ports (Thunderbolt 4 on M4 models and Thunderbolt 5 on M4 Pro), an HDMI port, a Gigabit Ethernet port (10Gb upgrade option), and power-in. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 come with wireless connectivity.

This Mac comes with Apple Mac Mini M4 and M4 Pro chips. Its M4 Pro is available in two configurations – base specs have a 12-core CPU and 16-core GPU and the high-end one has a 14-core CPU and 20-core GPU which is a $200 upgrade. Its standard M4 chip has 10 CPU and 10 GPU cores.

The high-end M4 Pro model is configurable with up to 8TB of storage, and the new Mac mini has up to 64GB of unified memory. It comes with Apple Intelligence support and macOS Sequoia pre-installed.

The new Apple Mac mini M4 model is available with 16GB of memory and 256GB of storage for $599 and can be pre-ordered at the Apple Store. The 24GB/512GB trim is $999, while the 512GB storage variant is $799.

The M4 Pro Apple Mac mini starts at $1,399 with 512GB storage and 24GB of unified memory. Deliveries will begin on November 8.
